Sr. Productivity Manager
The Productivity Manager is responsible and accountable for ideas, planning, and implementation of Productivity activities to create performance improvements within a given operations functional unit. The successful candidate will ensure a structure is in place to generate productivity improvements, generate and evaluate ideas, drive project replication, track progress and meet aggressive budgets. The Productivity Manager is expected to create a culture which employs process improvement tools to continuously improve business performance.

The Productivity Manager will demonstrate leadership in team environments and indirect influencing of performance is critical to success. The successful candidate must be capable of independent judgment and action, obtaining consensus for action with involved stakeholders.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Develop a structure for maintaining a pipeline of projects, and measuring/driving/reporting project status.
• Report project progress in Power Steering.
• Engage with senior management to obtain confirmation of project value
• Directs the implementation and provides ongoing management and support to have Productivity projects in place throughout the Operations functional unit.
• Develop productivity standards throughout the Operations functional unit.
• Establishes goals for Operations functional unit staff and engaged Region resources to ensure budgets are met.
• Ensure all Operations functional unit personnel are involved with productivity projects.
• Network with other Productivity Black Belts, Regional Productivity Managers and the National Operations, Distribution and other functional group Management to ensure transfer of best practices and implementation of Company initiatives.
• Develop a culture of motivated, employees to identify creative ideas for productivity opportunities.
• Design Productivity results driven strategy.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Science or other assignment-related discipline
• 5 - 10 years experience in an operations/distribution environment
• 5 - 10 years Industrial gas or assignment-related experience required
• Certification as Blackbelt, Greenbelt, or Lean Specialist preferred
• Experience required in functional disciplines such as asset management, cylinder gas production equipment, distribution planning/maintenance, or other critical operations functional unit.
